Quake 1 was such a vibe when it first came out. It was nearly an utterly unique experience for that time.

The remaster from a few years ago is great. It has minor graphical improvements such that it looks how you remember it.

The remaster was.. okay. It was the minimum of what a remaster should be. I wished we got something like Quake 2 with voxel lighting or something that could really noticeably improve the graphics or experience.
