You instantly get their products top of mind if you ever use Amazon.com - I think most people who are both Apple and Amazon customers go to Amazon.com more than Apple.com.


Just as support, I'm an Apple customer (typing this on a MBP) and I go to amazon.com at least twenty times as often as I go to apple.com.

Edited add: I just went to amazon.com, and ironically enough, they don't seem to have updated to reflect the new Kindles.


Well, yeah, I go to amazon.com to buy everything except an iphone, ipad, or macbook. Not a good comparison.


But you will still see a Kindle ad when you are there.
