I first found this site via photo.net back in the 90s or perhaps early 2000s. I had recently gotten my BS in Physics and happened to be a photography buff. I took a day in the summer at my parents' house and just read it. Digital wasn't a thing yet so frames of film were precious. He clearly explained the EV system and everything suddenly just clicked. I took hand written notes in an A5 notebook, which became the foundation of a lifelong habit of journaling.
