I find that way more interesting than the original article. Reportedly, Tennessee authorized FedEx to have its own police, with full law enforcement powers.

The idea of putting ANPRs on things like constantly moving delivery trucks is a fascinating engineering exercise, but a frightening move overall. Not saying that FedEx is doing it in this article, but it seems like a logical next step.
