As a music tech worker, I would definitely recommend this to beginners. It would be lots of fun to know sound design with GUI interactions.

Highly recommend a tool called Syntorial if anyone really wants to dive deep into sound synthesis. It's an interactive tutorial that walks you through creating a basic sound all the way up to complex synthesis.
