It is very smooth. I remember a lot of touches having feedback through small vibrations. If it weren't for the browser, Id recommend it to people.

Played with it for an while and while it seemed nice overall there wasn't any 'wow' and like someone else already said it is too bad they are stuck with being forced to use IE.

I wonder if the live tiles may confuse the average user. It may be that what people come to expect from a smartphone is the icon grid.

I caught a glimpse of one at a party the other day! Didn't get a chance to ask the guy how he liked it, unfortunately.
