This is a big fat "Duh". Capitalistic monopolies also largely explain a majority of the supply chain issues we've been facing for the past few years, largely driven by "Just in time" production.
There's this idea that resiliency and efficiency aren't trade offs and I agree some times, they aren't always direct trade offs, but they seem to be a lot of the time. Efficiency usually means cutting redundancy and redundancy is exactly what creates resiliency (backups, parallel paths, so on).
