let me start with some piece of wisdom: scrum is not a silver bullet. It may not solve your problem, and create additional ones if done improperly.

Also, scrum is not written on stone. If something from scrum does not work for your team/company culture, don't use it. Dont like standups ? dont have them. Dont like poker planning ? Don't play it.

The process should help you achieve your goals easier and quicker. If the process is hindering your work, just don't follow it.
