Over the last thirty years, I have bought exactly one brand new device - an Asus Eee, which I still have around somewhere, but which, ironically, I never really used. Everything elese has been other people's lay-offs, including my beloved Thinkpad T440p on which I'm typing this. I am forever baffled by the quality and newness of hardware everybody simply wants to get rid of.
