You could've played their game to make a point.

"Ah, no wonder it didn't work!"

Then draw out an IDE around the code with a big [Compile] button.

Maybe even Clippy in the corner of the whiteboard. "It looks like you're trying to get a job..."

I know this may come off as elitist but why not just use Rails? There are many great things to love about Python but Django is not one of them.

I'm not even sure how to respond to this comment.

Django is a solid framework with tons of real-world example of that very fact. Rails is a fine framework, too, but it's in a language I don't enjoy and is, to me, no where near as elegant as Django (usually) is.

I'm also not sure I see the point is commenting on a post about a feature of a framework with, essentially "swap your entire stack over to my favorite language". Maybe you have some way to backup your statement?

This would have never happened on Android. Typical Apple over reaching bullshit. BRB selling my iPhone for something that RESPECTS my sexual desires.

Google is literally out of control. We tried to stop it. I'm so sorry.

Honestly. I know life is not so obvious but I would just pour every resource I could into moving as far as I could from such a mess.

Well it's like different, but similar!

I visited the new Microsoft store in Boston recently and felt that the experience was on par with my expectations.

On three separate occasions the Windows 8 tablet and the POS systems froze. The employees were as confused as I was when demonstrating the device. Everything was made of metal colored plastic. The Windows Phone challenge was very rude and condescending.

I'm a full time Ubuntu user and use Thinkpads so I reasonably expected a solid build quality. I was left with a sour taste after I left the store. I felt like Microsoft was fine with cloning the Apple store and then putting down users who did not use latest and greatest Windows toaster.

Again, all on par with my expectations.

What kind of question is that? The submission's points are awarded by the users who find the content interesting.

No need to be snarky. Just calmly state that you find the column layout to be difficult to read.

This is really cool. Looking forward to a rails version of the gem!
