A new applied AI? A new team with access to fbook?
Challenge: take all the real estate / house for rent / sale scammers and make them only be seen by each other and not waste so many other people's time.
I'm sure an agent could of taken the fb message and then engaged in the sms phone texts and deciphered the affiliate scam I dealt with today faster than I did.
Save users time, money and make fbook better. I think this is possible.

I noticed with linkedin premium - when you view a job listing it tells you how many other people have applied akready, and what number of them have masters, bachelors, phd, director level, etc.
in this day, it should be a law that all the boards must post this info clearly - just to save us all a lot of time.
The amount of time I have spent putting info together for some job listings and wondered how in the heck they found someone else with the same experience and knowledge.. and to think, there may have been 1500 that applied before hand and literally none of that matters.
I was chatting with AIs about this a couple weeks ago, and was surprised by some of the things it knew would be done to protect the data centers and those who still make money.
I had never heard of some of the things they are already doing to protect electric cables and the way that a combination of technologies are deployed to surveil and shoo away humans. - on one of the AIs even provided me with youtube videos to show these hardening methods already in use.
The strain on the overcrowded prisons, increase in cybercrime, new tech to give people credits to get gov powdered cheese and mealworms grown from the former office space was quite interesting.
A peaceful island sounds nice until we realize there will be 11 million people that need to be there within 12 months and it just increases from there.

I've been wondering the past couple of weeks about how is India ready for what AI is already doing to jobs, and what is about to happen.
This is taking over faster than I ever expected, with some places already doing the race to the bottom (I recently discovered a portal for small businesses is now offering AI call answering / support / booking all automated addon for $10 / month - and I thought it was a good deal offering similar for $500 / month not long ago), this is going to make millions obsolete within months.
And I only say months because I see it taking that long for places to wind down contracts and switch over to AI call answering and customer support.
The ai systems available for so many of these tasks are more than good enough, and so many people and even tiny businesses are now aware of their existence, I don't see any going back to non English as first language call answering, support or even IT help at this point (for US based businesses, which I assume has been the lions share of income for many of the call centers in many places).
I asked for something similar on HN some time ago and the response I remember was 'if there was a market for this it would exist' - I explained the huge marker and need for it.
The first one I saw that said they did a percentage split I think was/is the "lily card" ? - then 'the founders card' (which is way too expensive for my taste)
Then I had someone from chase bank offer to setup a personal account for me, and I flippantly said sure if you can give me the ability to split percentages every time I get paid / deposit money.. and I know what you are going to say 'that's easy, just know what you are going to deposit, do the math and enter the amount.. full stop - I don't want that - that has been available for a long time everywhere..
This lady told me you can do a percentage now - she was pretty sure she saw that in her training.. took some time to bring it up.. but yes right there on the screen, and she printed it for me..

Now I have not gotten into the details yet - like can you set a percentage for one source coming in and a different one for another?
for my use case I just simply wanted 34% going to a saving account every time I put money in, and that appears doable there now.
When I saw you list I just thought, do a 50/10/10/30 split
have the 10 for affliates just be another account - when money hits there do your 15 split..
Things may get wonky splitting your third account, the 10% for 3 contractors - I think bank match gets weird when it hits a 3.3333% - I would hope there are rules for adjusting in there, but I have not yet seen the system to know.
I actually tried a similar thing when someone set me up with ADP payments a few months ago - they had an option to send 67% to one account and the rest to a different bank account - I was shocked.. and even though I think it had a thing that said if there is leftover pennies or partial percentage just push the rest to X choice..
however it did not go through for some reason - whoever managed that company's ADP stuff said there was some error they had to manually do a thing, don't recall.
Anyhow, I am glad to see that some options are becoming available for this finally - there were none I could find a while back.
I had wanted to do a twitter campaign tagging each major bank and explaining how a bunch of people need this and the bank that rolls it out can be attractive to the gig economy and freelancers big time.
not sure these would qualify for 'good resources' - that really depends on many factors. However at least one or two of his showing 'how to use' does check the boxes of your 1,2, and 3 - surely not a complete "here is everything you can do" - but not sure such a thing exists.
sadly I used similar words recently when attempting to discuss DNS records with godaddy support via text messaging.
SMS text as an option is fine to have, and was good for the situation in which this came up for me - but the delayed back and forth and then switching to other support people who did not seem to know the previous messages turned it into a real drain and I gave up with 'I hate this. done.'

I've installed fresh matrix about 8 times or so, got it to work 3 of those times. I started looking for how to do a fresh install earlier this year (matrix/synapse element) and I have no idea which docs to use,
It was bad enough before that I had to detour to random places to find workarounds for things like how nginx does it's thing differently than the matrix docs I was reading at the time.. but now with the newer element that makes it easy to not find a self hosting way - to main docs being listed as archived or old -
I'd enjoy installing it fresh with someone from matrix watching the process just to see what a slog it is - and then watch someone try to get some addins running like admin and moderation.
wordpress is a one click install via softalicious and similar on most cpanel 10$ and up hosts.. you can one click add a decent free chat plugin if you are on a VPS.
If matrix was that simple to setup, lots of people would be using it.
