Nice... tomorrow will get "Python" for start I think the result will be "Memory Leak" and party will be over after "Epic Fail" :)

I think it's very good practice to tape bugs. We need to think how we can apply it to DEV process ;)

I start to read this book and it's awesome.

I can't find discussion on HN about this project. But as I remember you guys collected feedback about product before build it, right? Do you have link? I'm impressed. Good job.

Yes - the original post was titled, "Stop building apps no one wants": https://hackernews.hn/item?id=4876680

And how many users you guys got after this post?

roughly 2000 were in the beta

It's good amount of users.

quite nice !

ODesk have time tracking software. This system makes screenshot every minute I guess. It's very helps when you working with new developers. And you want to know for sure that he works on your project.

oDesk does one screenshot in each 10-minute period, at random. So you can be sure to have 6 screenshots per hour, but you can never know when the screenshots will be shot by oDesk software.

Source: I work for an agency that does this.

I've used oDesk as well and although I feel the feature is useful it also feels very invasive. Not knowing what it will capture (looking up something on SO, checking email, writing code) has caused me to have to delete a 10 minute time slice on multiple occasions just to avoid sharing a picture of my email index or similar.

Yeah you are right. But it's so good to have 'Pickles' in products. And you can't stop adding more and more.

You CAN stop, it's just very difficult to hold back and deny your product the latest and greatest when you're already at full-speed :)

You are kinda right. But this application just asking are you going click download or not

"We’ll be launching LaunchSky early 2013." I think you have to wait till 2013

Looks pretty cool, but why wouldn't I just post my idea to KickStarter?

I think your missing the point of the web site.

It could be used to find out if an idea is worth persuing and if it is, you could then go to kickstarter... that's how I see it.

Neat. I'm going to launch a site where you post an idea to see if it's worth posting it to LaunchSky to see if it's worth posting to Kickstarter...

Seriously, though, I don't see how that's not already handled on Kickstarter. If there's not enough interest in your idea it won't reach its funding goal. What's the point of a pre-screening step?

Steve, that's EXACTLY how we see it being used

Well, that's an assumption we're testing: early adopters / curious viewers / other entrepreneurs, will be quicker to give their support (and their email, through a secured gateway to the original poster) than their money.

We'll be investing in the traffic/exposure of those visitors and entrepreneurs, and hope this launch page can help get the creators there.

I have loads of ideas, I have entered my e-mail and look foward to the launch :)

Awesome :)

Thanks for the kind words! people like you (and like us) are exactly why we're building this product.

If you have any feedback, feel free to email me directly --

If company building app for 2000 and it's not one page. Company should recognize it will be piece of junk.2000 it's just 20 hours of work. What you can build in 3 day? When dev guy building his portfolio that mean this guy doesn't have experience. So he will make 1000 bugs. And it's normal later he will be good (maybe).

So question is are do you ready to pay money to teach someone? Or you just need good app
