So you hire people who “don’t even own their own computers?” You might be the problem then.

Constant complaints about Anthropic. Not much on OAI/Codex. It seems people should just use OAI and come back when they realize compute isn’t free elsewhere.

Prototypes of what? What new products came out of Block in the past six years since pandemic? This makes it sound like Block is a place of innovations when it’s just a rent seeking enterprise.

"CEO pushes incremental gain as huge disruption that proves prior controversial decision correct" - I need AI to tighten my headline.

IME people good PMs already did this WITH slide decks, then tools like Balsamiq, and now AI tools, so it's made the process easier? quicker? people spend as much time but go further down actual implementation? Unfortunately I assume the last, which is too bad, but there doesn't seem to be a much story here.

You just might break that 10K visit from Spanish tech blog in 2017.

I detest Apple for constantly bothering me at the store for small business sales pitch. Apple Store experience has really gone down the hill.

It’s the best OS drive especially p5800x.

My experience was quite different. It was on par with open source models from China (and it was priced as much) and could never replace Sonnet/Opus/GPT5.x.

xAI showed me that it’s really still OAI and Anthropic (which is basically the OG devs). No matter how much money you throw at the problem, the entire space is still in the hands of a few.

Worth mentioning that tolerance is that low for multi-stud pieces. For an individual stud it’s closer to 0.02mm but as you add more studs tolerance spec goes up.

Why don’t they just allow MacOS on iPad Pro. It’s what people want.

Stating the obvious - because keeping them separate means Apple gets to double-dip on people buying more or less the same hardware twice.

I thought I wanted this. And in fact, I turned on the 'window' option for my iPad Pro when it came out. I did not, in fact, want this. The iPad just has totally different ergonomics, even with keyboard / trackpad / etc. Anyway, for years I've been convinced that would be the perfect combo - but in my own tests, - meh - At the very least, new hardware needs to be built that gives laptop-grade typing and trackpad. With that, then it would be upside - but I'm not sure that it would be that much cheaper than just having two devices.
