There are some security risks associated with Shortener Services. First, you never know where you are redirected when you click a shortened url — there could be a malicious url on the other end. Second Shortener Services can track users and their behavior. There are some other risks when shortening urls that should remain private.


There could be a malicious payload on a perfectly innocuous URL, too. Same for tracking.


I would appreciate any comments you have about the tool.


This is awesome, but it seems to be stale from time to time as companies smarten up.


For every admin that fixes their buckets, there are 2 more idiots that open them. I think this will never go away,


Sorry-- for clarity, I mean results that the tool returns are "stale" insofar as the company in question has locked down their buckets, presumably in a blind panic.
