We’re hiring a Founding Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join us in our NYC office.
Gambit is building an AI kitchen assistant that mounts under a range hood and uses computer vision and thermal sensing to understand what’s happening in a pan and guide cooking in real time.
We’re looking for an experienced engineer who enjoys owning systems end-to-end and working across backend, product, and infrastructure in a small team. You’ll be working directly with the founders building software that interacts with sensors, hardware, and AI models in real kitchens.

1) Founding Principal / Staff Full-Stack Engineer - 8+ years experience shipping production systems - Strong backend and systems foundation - Experience owning architecture end-to-end (zero → production). Hardware experience a plus but not necessary.
2) Founding Full-Stack Engineer - 4–6 years experience building and shipping production products - Strong product sense and ownership - Comfortable working across backend, client, and infrastructure
