We need to re-work marriage laws anyways. Most of them are exploitative and archaic. There is a reason fewer people are getting married now. We could easily replace it with a corporate structure like a partnership model. Communal assets owned by the corporation with liability laws to match. Maybe create a special equity share for family corporations accounting for unpaid domestic labor.
Marriage should be a cultural thing. Not something governed by the state.
When US currency stops being backed by huge amounts of petrochemicals and the largest economy in the world. Or when China stops accepting dollars for stuff maybe? Who knows when it comes to macroeconomics. It's a bit like predicting weather.

It would be nice if government officials had to do a national index fund (Vanguard or similar) stock purchase plan along the lines of employee stock purchasing in private companies.

Well... you could argue that she didn't by looking at the video. There's a struggle on the bed of thr truck and it looks like one of the deputies and her fight over the hive and the lid comes off a bit despite it being strapped down by a center strap.
..a few seconds after the struggle, the hive is then tipped over.
The officer was attempting to prevent her from tipping over the hive. You can see that the hive was tipping towards the camera and the officer's hands were on the side closest preventing her from flipping it. The officer attempts to replace the lid too. She was shoving on the hive as hard as she could until it tipped over.
Abilene is the confluence of three major resources. Massive wind farms that stretch from horizon to horizon, natural gas wells that are constantly having to flare off excess capacity, and a direct freeway connection to both Fort Worth and Dallas. In addition, land is dirt cheap.
I suspect their biggest problem will be water availability so they will need to use some other method for cooling.
I was thinking heat pumps hooked up to radiators and/or geo grids. Right now the cheapest method is evaporators which use a ton of water. It's expensive to get rid of a couple megawatts like that. Some data centers have their own microclimates that are 10-20C hotter on average.
I think the big point is that they had all the money in the world and couldn't be bothered to spend any of it on their own safety. On top of that is the fact that being a billionaire is deeply immoral.
