I see thanks.

Try having two things going for you at once. For example, lets say that you have a day job you should also indulge yourself in another hobby. When I procrastinate I like to overindulge myself in my hobbies until I feel sick of doing that hobby. Then I feel compelled to return to whatever work it was that I was doing. But, if you're missing deadlines, then maybe it's a sign that you should move onto something else that you would enjoy (that is unless you're a college student. Then you just have to suck it up).

If procrastination is the problem, then http://www.structuredprocrastination.com/ is the answer :)

Apparently other people are seeing this, but I am unable to. I'm on Chrome.

You know, I actually don't visit Reddit too often since I prefer Hacker News because of the entrepreneur/hacker content I can rely on. But at the same time the best entrepreneurs are well rounded and cultured, so articles about other topics isn't tainting Hacker News. I just wouldn't want every article on the front page to be about bees, TSA and Wikileaks.

Why does it have to be remotely interesting to the Times? It's remotely interesting to me and that's what the Times cares about.

What have you purchased for Christmas and were you conscious about how much you were spending?

I purchased a video card (ati 5550) from microcenter and I chose it because it was around $100 dollars. I purchased it a few days after christmas since I got cash. I would have been more conscious if my phone was charged but I am enjoying my purchase.

Actually spent more on my kids than ever before, but less on myself. My wife didn't seem very conscious of it at all, though I cringed every time she returned home from the mall :)

thanks for the heads up

So, will Greenpeace or other environmentalists draw up a petition to ban wifi networks despite the fact that they probably own potted plants and have wireless connections in their offices? hmm.

You're being awfully glib in putting words in to the mouth of parties that have made zero statements on this.

A bit of googling around shows that Greenpeace has never seemed to have a problem with using WiFi. They have lots of dumb opinions -- I won't pretend to be neutral here -- but they don't seem to be against WiFi.

It's Google, what do you think?
