"A Senate bill was introduced in February 1947 to create the National Science Foundation (NSF) to replace the OSRD. This bill favored most of the features advocated by Bush, including the controversial administration by an autonomous scientific board. The bill passed the Senate and the House, but was pocket vetoed by Truman on August 6, on the grounds that the administrative officers were not properly responsible to either the president or Congress."

Also mentions the preceding organization OSRD (Office of Scientific Research & Development) and that they had tried to exempt it from conflict of interest regulations.

Can Spamassassin do this? I can’t remeber anymore. I think I used primal with it last, but I bet you could vibe code up a harness…. Also I think it’s not an LLM in any way, but markov.

Sorry, we are not open-source. Also, it's free to use till beta :) although there would be a free plan even after that. We don't plan to open source it till we have enough momentum to support ourselves with the project. This is for profit project. Your data is yours but the software is ours, till the revenue supports us. After which we do plan to open-source it.

This actually amused me for a few minutes - I played Carmen Sandiego last in the very early 90s and I got a nice nostalgia hit from this. OIDC logins and a backend where you can store progress and achievements would be a nice addition. Heck, even storing the data in my local browser’s store would be okay. :-)
