Ah! Fantastic! I have been wanting to do this exact same project. I have been held back by trying to choose a screen. I want something REALLY dim at night.

In the end, I created a custom watchface for an amazfit band 7 that I had lying around and that worked decently, actually.

You can dim this screen all the way down to where it's hard to read in the dark. I recommend it if you still want to do it.

I'm really curious what it is, but I don't want to spoil myself, so I'll just come back to this after I see the episode!

If you're already caught up on what's aired so far, I don't think it's a major spoiler; it kind of follows from what we've already seen that (base64 encoded)

And also, there's always the chance they didn't even end up using it :P

How long before that's no longer the case?

Only way to be sure it will never change is to build it yourself and make it free for everyone forever!

Though even if you build it, someone might eventually make you an offer you cannot refuse.

You can always refuse offers. Plenty of people enjoy working long hours and answering endless customer support issues for no revenue. Well, there must be someone out there.

Why do you still think it's ok to override default scrolling behavior just to create a buggy mess so that is scrolls "smooth"?

/s

There is a bug, if you scroll down and then press the home icon, it takes you to the top, but if you start scrolling again it goes back to the original position. Please do not override default scrolling

Page looks nice tho

Thanks! Appreciate it:)

That was a long time ago. In 2014 they took a bite of the poisoned apple and received 40 mil. I can imagine that's where the rat race began, till they sold to this MediaLab company in 2021.

I can imagine anything of value, both culturally and technologically, is just being squeeze for any possible penny.

I am pretty AI-skeptic. But I just tried to create a little tool with Junie, and I'm quite in shock. It was SO good I barely had to do anything.

Personally, I still think that they shouldn't be relied upon too heavily, but if you already know what you are doing, some of these tools can definitely give you a big boost.

People are more important than businesses

that’s only what employee handbook says.

"We have identified that you are at an increased risk of cancer. To ensure we give you the best care your insurance premium has now gone up 20x, you are welcome."

The scenario is not occurring, and anyway... if you had information about an increased risk, you can use that information to mitigate the risk and avoid the harm. Even if you think insurance and doctors are good for you, efficient and help you feel better... they are much more effective if you as the patient have a pretty good idea of what might be going wrong.

This has been illegal in America for almost two decades.

I am not sure about a "professional" experience. But my personal one is that I had my parents install it on their machine years ago, and since it's running stable and without great changes or weird banner or any other silly stuff that would break the flow.

I can log in remotely and help them. It is also easy to install and run, which is also bonus points.

For me, this smooth experience has been a godsent. When I used TeamViewer I feel like every time I would use it, sometimes months apart, it would break or something would change.

Very cool! I'm actually curious to learn more about how the bin conversion works. The pack files are pretty interesting!
