This would be amazing to be able to use on a TV with a remote!

Just finished up the first two Game of Thrones book. Before continuing wanted to check out a couple of other books.

Read Shadow Divers which was really good. Saw it suggested a lot and it did not disappoint.

Now reading The Pearl by Steinbeck and Red Dwarf: Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers by Grant Naylor.

The game of thrones books are great. I know this is cliche to say, but the books are better than the show.

The third book is so amazing. I read the books after seeing the show, and maybe that helped me form a mental model of the world and the characters.

Such a shame GRRM likely won't complete it.

Ham radio is a huge rabbit hole. It's a hobby full of other hobbies within. One of the most fun parts for me is Summits on the Air (SOTA).

You take a small portable HF transceiver up a mountain summit and attempt to make at least 4 contacts. You get points for "activating" the summit and folks at home get points for "hunting" you. You can also spot yourself online and sometimes you'll have a bunch of people from around the world trying to make contact with you.

That's amazing. I've been looking at getting my first fish tank lately with my kids. Seems like a lot to learn. Any tips for a newbie?

If your first fish tank is just going to be something small with a goldfish or two in it, I'm not sure how you go about doing that as I've not done that before. Maybe you just fill the tank from the tap and chuck the fish in? I decided to go for a large planted heated freshwater tank with interesting fish and shrimps and snails, so I had to be careful to monitor the water and find out what species could co-exist, what pH and temp they like, etc. It took 6 weeks before I could put anything in it safely, so one tip would be to patient. Another would be, go and speak to the people in the pet shop / aquatics center about what you're doing as they can tell you everything you need to know. I got most of my advice from ChatGPT, but double checked it with the kind people at the aquatics center as I was setting things up.

Thanks for the advice!

https://www.bookmarkstuff.com

Another itch of my own to scratch but thought I'd see if I can make some side income as well.

It's a web based bookmark manager with extensions for Firefox and Chrome.

You can easily import and export bookmarks so you have all your data whenever you need.

One main thing I really like that I think makes it stand out is the ability to export the contents of a bookmarked page to an epub file to read later on your Kindle or other e-reader device.

Looking for any constructive feedback on this! Thanks.

I like the coffee one!

- The Writer - James Patterson

- Terminal Man - Michael Crichton

- The Name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfuss

Would be great to somehow incorporate this into a game where you can play in any city in the world.

I'm pretty sure WWE would have an exclusivity clause that would prevent another pro-wrestling program on Netflix. But who knows!

WWE dont have the clout they used to. I remember when they were the number 1 viewed website on the internet. Nowadays the MMA & UFC is much more valuable.

Well UFC and WWE are both part of the TKO group.

Im not sure how that is a response to my comment about one being more valuable than the other.

This looks great! Will purchase.
