It seems that the fork has added a fair bit of functionality. Using Ace-Jump, Sections, and History, at first glance

Ah, I see. I should have read the whole of both READMEs!

Maybe someone else can explain to me how to feel.

I am from Toronto, as such I am kinda proud that Toronto didn't cough up a lot of money to entice Amazon - but did we miss the chance to attract a lot of jobs/attention/cashflow to our city?

These incentives are derided as ridiculous, but even with tax incentives I assume NYC&Virginia will be making >$0 in revenue and a lot more in side benefits. Am I wrong?

(PhD here) An ex-colleague in grad school caught me once on a bad day and I told her she shouldn't do a PhD, stick to a Master's. To this day she credits me with convincing her to graduate at the Master's level - and she is grateful and thanks me for it. None-the-less, I have always felt guilty because my PhD experience was great and that sort of responsibility on someone else's life is kinda heavy.

Round-up Ready crops are not sterile.

Farmers spraying their neighbours' fields could be a problem I guess. But its a problem that would pre-date GMOs. Farmers have been spraying their crops for hundreds of years? (well at least decades)

This has actually been a frequent cause of conflict between farmers for several generations now.
