This will really help the 10 people still using an iPhone 6S.

(Still a common W for Apple updates)

CONSOOM!

I am using a Dell 4K monitor.https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0F29RSLHP?th=1 Works fairly well.

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/locally-ai-local-ai-chat/id674... these are not powerful models but if compute on the iPhone increases, it may be plausible.

Assuming it has Apple INtelligence, 8 gigs seems plausible?

Every phone since the iPhone 15 Pro has the minimum 8GB to accommodate Apple Intelligence.

While I have not commited my personal mind map, I just had Claude Code write it down for me. Plus I have a small Claude.MD, copilots-innstructions.md that are mentioning the various intricacies of what I am working on so the agent knows to refer to that file.

Theres a big difference between NOT truly open and opaque.Opus is downloadable and auditable. That’s not the same thing as undisclosed proprietary scraping. If your standard is absolute purity test, then yeah no one in AI passes. But claiming Mozilla is indistinguishable from OpenAI because they used scraped data is disingenous.

It is capable of that seahorse faux pas. '''Is there a seahorse emoji?

Yes – Unicode includes a seahorse emoji. It is U+1F9A0 and renders as:

(seahorse)

(If your device or browser doesn’t show the graphic, you may see a placeholder box.)

Interestingly, while it uses diffusion, it generates incorrect information, and it doesn't fix it when later in the text it realizes that it is incorrect:

  > The snail you’re likely thinking of has a different code point:
  > The correct code point for the snail emoji is U+1F40C? No—U+1F40C is SEAHORSE. The snail’s true code point is U+1F40C? Wait, this is still confusing.

  > Snail → U+1F40C? No, that’s wrong.
  > Snail → U+1F40C? Still wrong.

  > The snail emoji is actually U+1F40C? I’m mixing things up.

  > The snail emoji is U+1F40C? No…

  > After double‑checking the official Unicode tables (Unicode 13.0 and later), the snail is U+1F40C? The…
  > Given the confusion, the safest answer is: the Unicode Standard defines U+1F40C as “SEAHORSE”. If your device shows a snail, it’s a rendering quirk, not a change in the underlying code point.

I think you’ll have to do multi-shot generation to correct this, each diffusion is going to represent a single “thought”.

Though with the speed it’s running that’s not necessarily a deal breaker. I suspect diffusion models will need different harnesses to be effective.

Could have some more of the Sarvam models, including the ones recently announced.. But happy to see their names mentioned. Had tried joining them but they ghosted after one round :(

What about something like Hashicorp secrets? We have a the hashicorp secrets in launch.json and load the values when the process is initialized (yeah it is still not great)

Its meaningless cause every single place I worked at had labelled itself a "Great^TM" place to work at, but I only was kinda happy at one, and the other two were toxic hellholes.

Glassdoor, Indeed and Blind are more reliable. Also word of mouth.
