I'm a university student and have been working on this project for the past month or two. I wanted to learn how to create computer vision/object detection models for my school's robotics club but found the learning curve pretty steep. With Detecto, my hope is that it makes the field more approachable to newcomers and gives people a quick and easy option for when the existing libraries are too heavy-duty.
Please let me know what you think and if you have any feedback!
Bidbar is a Mac app that allows you to save bash commands in the menu bar and run/copy them with keyboard shortcuts. I've always found it tedious to type out/memorize long and difficult Terminal commands. Although you can save these as bash aliases, it takes some time and is sometimes bothersome to do. As a result, I created Bidbar, which allows you to save and run commands with a click of a button!
Please let me know any feedback or suggestions you have!
This seems to fill a gap about mid-way between !history and aliases.
Being able to give a descriptive title for each of the entries is awesome for those who run a lot of commands that are nearly the same, and for which too many aliases would be as cumbersome (as you describe) and eventually confusing once you've amassed too many of them.
Also, the output window is sweet. I hope it is configurable since some commands are interactive, and some are not. Either way, I'll be trying it out.
Hey all, I recently released a beta version of my app, and I'm looking for feedback on whether this helps improve developer productivity.
Bidbar is a Mac menu bar app that allows you to save Terminal commands that you frequently use in the menu bar, run them with a simple click and/or keyboard shortcut, and view their output in a minimal window. You can pretty much save any command you want, such as starting up a Node project or running a Python script to fetch the latest stock prices.
I'm open to hearing your guys' thoughts on how useful the app is, what features you'd like, etc. Thanks!
I'm Alan, a high school tech enthusiast here with my first-ever product "launch." I created Statsify as a fun tool to learn more about the sites that I visit, and I thought that some of you might find it interesting as well.
I'm open to any questions or feedback that you all might have. Thanks!
