I have had the thought to write little "programs" in text or markdown for things which would just a chore to maintain as a traditional program. (I guess we call them "skills" now?) Think scraping a page which might change its output a bit every so often. It the volume or cadence is low, it may not be worth it to create a real program to do it.

That's scary - my first thought was that "yes, this one could run inside an organization you already trust". Running it like a public Stackoverflow sounds scary. Maybe as an industry collaboration with trusted members. Maybe.

I think it was meant not in a literal sense. ASLR is meant to make it hard to access memory which isn't yours. Your system makes it easy to access memory which isn't yours.

I wonder if the Rust checker could be made "extra process" aware in your scenario and thus allow rust programs to "connect to each other" in this shared memory space.

That's a confusing perspective of ASLR

That's good to know! Those would be good to look at if one wanted to know why some people move to the US.

Well at least oil prices are up, which is a good thing I was told by the commandering chief. Goes hand in hand with America (oil) first policy.

Someone did go to jail, so there's at least that.

Yes. But a lot of people still got cars that were not as represented. So if we follow the same pattern, somebody will go to jail, but most routers will not be running verified or safe code.

Do you apply the same scrutiny to the food you eat?

Some trust has to be created through testing standards and the law, but generally we do believe what the label says in day to day life.

In so far as I cook myself? Yes

So you personally test your produce to ensure it's safe to eat, has no pesticides embedded in it that could harm you, etc.? You do that after every single trip to the grocery store or farmer's market? Every trip? You don't spot check, and assume/hope/trust that the ones you don't test are safe?

The routers thing? That's probably just a scam to get donations to the Trump Family Bunker/Ballroom in DC or other pet project.

Another similarity with North Korea!

Or send cash in an envelope.

Any signs of offshore workers using AI? :)

If you knew what he was about to tweet 5 minutes in advance, could you make any money?

Futures suddenly dumped ~10% at 7am. What do you think?

If one knew Friday what he was going to say during the weekend, could that be profitable?

Of course, as long as it's before end of trading hours.

There are Crypto perpetual futures markets open all weekend but those are much smaller so it's unlikely they could make millions there.

We are so lucky only God-fearing and honest people can know in advance what he is going to say.

Everyone knows by now he TACOs.
