The terms themselves don’t seem to restrict use of the editor, just “the Service”, which is defined as the subscription service (separate to “the Software”). Not sure why the email was phrased this way but it seems to be misaligned with the actual terms.

I suspect this is because minors cannot normally be legally bound by contracts they sign.

AFAIK crypto mining is banned on AWS, along with pretty much all other cloud providers.

Okay, use it yourself. But do not encourage others to use it. It is adfraud and most people set it to full click through rate.

What is adfraud?

Ad fraud is when you scheme to get clicks on your own site to defraud the ad network that would pay you for the space you sold them. It is not relevant here unless you're using the extension on your own site.
